If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

We use cookies to facilitate login and security features, and for streamlining the user experience. We recommend that cookies are enabled on your browser when using our site.

Javascript

Our site uses JavaScript for various features and functions, including the Login, Shopping Cart, Checkout, Comments, and HelpDesk systems. If you disable JavaScript on your web browser, then this may interfere with the correct functioning of our site resulting in a sub par experience. We recommend that JavaScript is enabled on your browser when using our site.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics and Data Retention

We advertise on Google and on other search engines and platforms that use analytics to assist us in managing our accounts with these third parties. No personal-identifying information is transmitted to such third parties through the analytics interface.

Contact Forms, Registration, Data Retention

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If you register on our website, we also store personal information you provide in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time; however, usernames cannot be edited. Website administrators can also see and edit user information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How your information is used

We record and use your billing and shipping address, telephone number, and email address to process and ship your orders. This information is retained on our secure servers to simplify future order processing and to enable you to retrieve information about past orders.  You information is not shared with third-parties except when and only to the extent necessary to process and ship your order.  Also, visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Sharing Your Data

We do not share your information with third parties with the exception of payment processors you have chosen during checkout (e.g. PayPal, Stripe for Visa MasterCard, American Express, Discover, etc.), and our shipping partners (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.). Aside from these, no third-party shall receive your information from us unless we are compelled under court order.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How we protect your data

We have installed industry standard encryption utilizing a 2048-bit key for all sensitive connections to our web site. This means your personal data and all other information transmitted between your computer or mobile device and our server is encrypted and unreadable by third parties.
